- By the time I finished the race, temperatures had spiked (86°). I could barely stay hydrated. Grateful that I brought along both water bottles to help with the later miles so that I wouldn't have to make stops.
- Even though I won my age group, I took zero pleasure with that fact. Completing a half marathon in over 2 hours is beyond disappointing.
- I have another half-marathon nect weekend. I'll hope for a better performance and cooler temperatures.
