a bit over 4 minutes in front of second place, but the real story of the day is that only the two of us (1st and 2nd) ran the correct course. apparently the wide scatter, along with less-than-informed cops directing people contrary to course markings took its toll... (for whatever its worth, i found the course well-marked and easy to follow, even correcting the lead biker-cop once...)
made for exciting times trying to find everyone afterward...
