I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run 

Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.

Personal:

I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

PM: 1 mile swim after work. Hot tub/sauna after.

Not pleased with the reviews I've been seeing for the Hoka Speedgoat 6 so I managed to find a pair of 5's at the REI outlet for $135. They're made in China and Vietnam so I wanted to get a new pair quick. Probably would be smart to stock up.

Happy Earth Day!

I ran the South Jordan Earth Day 5k to celebrate. 24:11. Beautiful, 45 degrees and sunny.

Went to brunch after with Abby and Andy before both of them go to work. Abby did well in all her nursing classes this semester and has a couple weeks off before her next semester starts. It's an intensive 20 month program to get her RN.  Ann is in Minnesota visiting her mom.
