I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run 

Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.

Personal:

I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

Not sure I'll get a run in today. I was planning on going at lunchtime but I just remembered I have an AP teachers meeting then. Practice after school, Andy's baseball game at 5:00 - the running gods aren't smiling on me. Maybe I'll circle Andy's little league field durning his game if I can deal with the wierd looks from other parents.

I'm reading The Boys in the Boat. Most fun I've had reading a book in a long time.

Every day that I'm home with the kids my running drops to zero and I think about your blog entries. If it wasn't for work I wouldn't get miles at all.
