PM: 4 miles on the treadmill plus some weight lifting at the spiffy Hampton Inn Denver Tech Center gym.

Lots of thoughts today. I quit my only social media, Twitter, out of frustration with the attention seeking clown that owns it. Never been on facebook, instagram or any other social media unless you count the FRB! Anyway, I deleted the twitter app from my phone and won't be back.

I'm here in Denver for an AP teachers class at Cherry Creek HS until Thursday. Looking back to 2014 on my blog I see that I was here then then for the same purpose. Abby and Andy were here, ages 13 and 8, and we made a fun family trip out of it. Now it's just me and Ann enjoying a fun little getaway courtesy of the Canyons School District. Going to see Oppenheimer tonight at 7:30 and a 3 hour movie at that time will be a challenge for me.

The teacher sitting next to me in class today was younger than my daughter and I had complicated thoughts about my career wrapping up even though I'm definitely not retiring anyyime soom.

It just doesn’t seem right that you weren’t running the 10k or marathon today….

I know. I love Salt Lake on the 24th Jeff. Still remember our run down the canyon over a decade ago!

I left Twitter a couple years ago. It wasn't good for my mental health. I'm still on old FB, but not much. Another mental drain that I feel obligated to keep around for some reason. It's no wonder we have a mental health crisis in this country.

I feel like the Fast Running Blog should be enough Bob :-)
