AM: 5.5 miles around Dunedin followed by a short swim in the retirement community swimming pool.

I wanted to do some lap swimming here in Florida but the Dunedin pool is not yet open for the year, the Long Center pool is closed for all of 2025 for renovations and the other Clearwater pool is still closed due to hurricane damage.

Our Salt Lake pools never close down.

PM: 2 eliptical miles, weights at the Dunedin Community Center.

The Florida-Houston game starts around my bedtime. The eastern time zone sucks!

There are other options that you may have considered - the YMCA in Palm Harbor has a pool - that's close by. The pool in St. Pete at SPA is awesome and has two pools for lap swimming, but it is a long way from Dunedin. I had heard about the long center being renovated from a friend down there as that was where he used to train. He's now doing his swimming in the gulf - so there's another option for you! :)

That's good advice Bret. I checked out the Yelp reviews for the Palm Harbor Y and there were several complaints about not being able to get a lane because all the other pools are closed!

The Gulf it will be. Going to Sand Key early on Wednesday.

Yeah, live sports aren't near as watchable over here.
