I always enjoy 200s. They require zero mental fortitude but they make you feel really good. No one ever wimped out in a 200.

Nice workout!

I miss Abby on the blog :) I posted a Frank update for her today!

I just read your last few entries. I wish I had something witty to add but I'm very tired and dull. Stay strong and stay interesting!

I appreciate that Michael. Running is only so interesting you know. Plus I know I have several family members who read my blog just to keep up with what's going on with me and my family...

I've never been much of a journal/diary person but this blog has sort of become that for me.

So I take it you're moving down to the middle distance events. 800m perhaps:)

I'd have paid to have seen somebody your age pegging it round the track - I bet your legs are nagging you today:)

On the plus side, aren't those splits faster than what Jake does his 200's in?

From Rob Murphy on Wed, Mar 20, 2013 at 06:05:43 from 24.10.249.165

Bam - I was actually expecting to be a bit sore when i woke up this morning but I'm not. Maybe because I've been remembering to include some striders and short hill sprints into my workouts?

From Bam on Wed, Mar 20, 2013 at 07:24:35 from 89.126.28.24

It's all right Rob, I'll keep your little secret quiet - you know, the steroid one:) You're as bad as Bret with his iron thing, what's it called, Not EPO or something? Likely story. Better be careful, Bret's a lawyer.

This age thing is a right pain. Who was it that said youth's wasted on the young?

From Jake K on Wed, Mar 20, 2013 at 08:47:40 from 155.100.226.191

I'm going to try and replicate this 200m workout later this week. Bam is right, when I can do 6x200m ~34 seconds, I'm ready for a 1:06 half. So you're probably looking at an master's American record soon, Rob.

From dugco on Wed, Mar 20, 2013 at 09:00:05 from 69.243.230.118

Ignore the haters, Rob - I know you're a sprinter at heart. Good work.

From Bret on Wed, Mar 20, 2013 at 10:33:27 from 66.241.33.145

I love the 200's workout for all of the reasons you mentioned. Nice job -

and let Bam know that anything you share with me is attorney/client privileged. ;)

Jeez... who'd a thunk me running a few 200s would provoke so much controversy?
