| Member Since: Nov 27, 2016 Gender: Male Goal Type: Other Running Accomplishments: I have run 12 marathons, 5 since major surgery in 2005. My fastest was Leipzig in 1992. 3 hours 11 minutes 48 seconds. The Mesa-Phx Marathon on February 25, 2017 was the fastest since my surgery at 4:26:59. Short-Term Running Goals: I want to improve on my last Marathon time. After the Phoenix Marathon that I ran February 25, 2017 I want to focus on shorter races and do a sprint tri. I did improve about 45 minutes faster on the Mesa-Phx Marathon over the last Petrified Forest Marathon and about 27 minutes faster than the last time I ran the Mesa-Phx Marathon. Long-Term Running Goals: Continue to run and work on my speed. Do shorter races and a sprint tri in the next year. Personal: I have been an educator for 32 years. | Holbrook. 1:00:43 with10:01 pace. 9:51, 9:23, 10:13, 10:03, 10:08, and 10:22 plus 41 sec. My max VO2 has been 50 or 51 and currently went back to 50. My cadence is usually in the green zone with some blue. My training effect is 2.8 today. I am not sure if I ever get above 3. I would have to go back and look at my best workouts to know. My ave. HR today was 135 with a max of 163 today. I. Don't think I get my max that high usually. Also did core workout before run. 40 times everything. Min high plank. |
