Got home from work and ran 6 miles today. It felt great out with the temperature around the low 60's.I'm trying to pick it up a bit because I'm running a 10k this Saturday.

Mile - 1 - 8:21

Mile - 2 - 7:48

Mile - 3 - 7:47

Mile - 4 - 7:48

Mile - 5 - 7:48

Mile - 6 - 7:57

It looks like my pace is going to be around the 7:40's for the race. I'll try to pick it up the last 2 miles.Last year I ran this race in 54:49.I hope to break 50 this year.

With splits like that from a solo training run, you'll demolish both your old PR and the 50 minute mark...

remember though, first mile conservative and build from there, be positive and run negative.

Wow- great times! You will make it.:) I have to watch the first mile or so because I always want to run too fast. I still haven't got down negative splits.
