Ran with son, a friend of his, our Golden on a recovery run (from my sons race) in Mill Creek. His friend (a non-runner) will probably not run again with us (even though we ran on slow side) - the kid was totally dead afterwards. He was noisy before running and totally silent after running. Great day for running, think it was close to 70 for late November, we ran a loop that came right out at 5 miles. Parked at winter gate (Maple Grove) in Mill Creek then up the road to Elbow Fork then on Pipeline Trail back to road by Burch Hollow, then back up road also using ski by-pass trail back to car. A very pleasant run, nice temps, a fall/winter forest (but no snow).

Left calf has been sore last 3 days for some reason

Ran on logging roads behind parents home near Montesano, Washington. Temps OK a little cool, low 40s but not raining. The road has a couple of killer hills. Nice  and forested, lots of green. Saw ravens, oregon juncos, steller blue jays and geese. Ran to Lake Slyvia with son

Ran  4 miles on Washington logging roads, was 25 degrees and dressed to warm, road frozen. will run more tonight. I think a mile on logging road is more difficult than other miles as they seem to have alot of u[s and downs of steep grade. Some pain from right IT

Shoes: Saucony 119, Asics 111, Trail 83 Work - ?

Ran 3.5 more miles tonight under full moon through the Forest - son thought it was a little spooky but it was plesanat for me

Back on the logging roads again - I try to do different ones each day, this one was definately a steep hill climber. It seems like a mile on a logging road is equivalent to 1.5 miles on flats - I though it was me, but even my fast running son thinks the logging road mile is harder. No frost, but was cloudy with cool air. Got divebombed by a couple of blue jays who then squawed at me I guess to riidcule my running style. Seattle Marathon I guess is tommorow - Id probably win it with my Utah running training, but I think Ill pass on it until next time. Seems strange time to have marathon in western Washington as usually this time of year is cold steady rain
