Sunday Afternoon:

Spontaneously decided to run somewhere, some pace, some distance...Wound up heading south towards Springville.

Never Ran inside a graveyard before...they didn't seem to mind.

This dancing child caught my eye from far away.

Under That Pepsi sign reads "The Water Hole"

Wondered if I could stand on that ice without cracking it..Next time I will try and see.

I'm planning on doing more runs where I just wander...I do too many set runs. Much more entertaining not knowing where you are going. Would have kept going but it was close to Dark.

Somewhere close to 8:30pace..Had no watch on.

That sounds like a lot of fun. I love adventure, and I think it is a lot more fun to mix things up. That ice doesn't look very thick, so I would stay off of it. :) Nice miles too.

Very nice pictures! I'll try taking pics on one of my easy runs. You'll laugh at what I have to run through lol...

The BBK runners do their speed and tempo workouts in a cemetery and its actually fun waking the dead and having them push us a bit. :) I love runs like that myself especially in the summer when you run up in the mountains.

From missy on Sun, Jan 17, 2010 at 23:31:51 from 75.162.121.126

Walt...are you brave enough to do those tempo workouts in that cemetery in the dark barefoot alone? I would be impressed then. :P

From Walter on Sun, Jan 17, 2010 at 23:35:36 from 24.10.169.110

We did most of them in the dark. I would do it though. Im not good running barefoot though can I use my five finger running shoes? :)

Missy, do not dance on the graves. I repeat, do not dance on the graves.

On a proud note, look how small the pictures are!

From vinh on Mon, Jan 18, 2010 at 15:46:56 from 71.68.254.197

Good run Missy and love the pics now that they are actually viewable =P How is the foot feeling? You are crazy to run in a cemetery lol.

From missy on Mon, Jan 18, 2010 at 22:06:50 from 75.162.121.126

Walt..sorry has to be barefoot. Go on the full Moon..you will be able to see the ground.

Burt..what happens if I dance on graves? YEAH, I learned how to rEsIzE from the Master.

VINH! My fav Blogger! :) Foot did pretty well..doesn't feel great, will tape it for all my runs...Oh, I wasn't exactly running IN the cemetery..ran by it and spontaneously took the scenic route.

From Walter on Mon, Jan 18, 2010 at 22:14:58 from 24.10.169.110

Dang Missy, I hope your foot and rib recover soon! Be injured is the worst feeling for an athlete. I was pretty sure you didn't run in the cemetery, just teasing you =P

From missy on Tue, Jan 19, 2010 at 11:48:05 from 75.162.121.126

Thanks Vinh....it IS the worst feeling!! You must be able to relate...I don't want to be mean and make emo jokes but I think I must be feeling like how an emo feels...or an injured athlete, something like that...O.o

Cemeteries are oddly beautiful covered in snow. :)
