I just started college and am a little lost without my xc and track from high school!  But I'm beginning to breach the long-distance scene, which is fantastic!

Ten mile run in the morning.

Hike in the afternoon, I don't know the exact mileage, but we were hiking for about 3 hours without a lot of stopping up through Albion Basin!  It was lovely.

Now it is a no brainer, you hiked at elevation for 3 hours, that explains why you where flat for the friday run. First ten miles on Jeremy Ranch Road and then a day of hiking. Your body is tough but you were tired. Rest a bunch today so you can have a good race tomorrow. Do not run any more today.

All right, that makes sense! I will rest a lot today.

As in, I already came home and took a nap for about 2 and 1/2 hours.
