I just started college and am a little lost without my xc and track from high school! But I'm beginning to breach the long-distance scene, which is fantastic!
I did 5 miles with the advanced group, then I ran with Ashley and Delaney for 2.5 miles. Delaney and I did another lap around the park when we got back, which was another 1.5 miles- then we did some Pilates with Emily, which hurt.

Good job on the mileage today. And, pilates are supposed to hurt! But, you will be grateful in the last six miles of your marathon.

I almost wrote something that I'm realizing would have come across as less than appropriate. Let's just say that the pilates did make interesting places hurt. PS yes, MIKE blogs-ish.
