Stay healthy and in good enough shape that I can more or less keep up with my youngest daughter.
Personal:
My wife Laureen got me into running. She went into the St. George Marathon Ten Year Club last year and I should go in this year. I have two daughters (15 and 21).
Ran the 40th West loop with Laureen at noon (south to Deerfield Elementary, east to 40th West, east to Canyon Road and then back long the golf course trail). Temperatures were in the 60's with a breeze out of the south.
Ran in the evening after dropping my daughter off at jiujitsu. Temperatures were very pleasant so just ran in short sleeves. Pushed it a little harder than I've been used to. My left ankle was getting a bit sore towards the end.
Lunchtime run with Laureen. Stopped by to check out the new WalMart as we were heading west. Hundreds of high school students were there to get the free hotdogs and other giveaways. Couldn't get out of there fast enough. Beautiful day for a run.
Noon ride with Laureen along the east bench. Came across a group of kids that were lighting off bottle rockets in the foothills east of Cedar Hills Drive. Explained to them why that was a bad idea.
