Laureen, Amelia and I went out for a run at noon. It was pleasant, maybe a little on the cool side starting out. As we approached the mouth of American Fork Canyon the wind picked up and the snow started and it turned quite cold. The wind was in our face as we ran east and was still in our face as we turned south going up the hill. It was kind of miserable for a while until we got down closer to the houses that provided a bit of wind break. Turning to the west with the wind behind us, it wasn't so bad. All in all, a good outing.

Ran the Spectrum 10K with my Laureen and youngest daughter Amelia (age 12). Cool at the start with temperatures in the low 30's, but felt warmer as the sun came up. Started out at a pretty decent pace with the downhill, but Amelia was starting to tire around the halfway point. We alternated between walking and running for the rest of the way and finished in 1:14:47.
