| Still trying to figure out the best time to go for a run. My schedule has been all over the place so I probably should just wake up earlier to go run. Went running around 8 a.m. this morning.It was a good run. I felt really good and my form for most of the way was pretty good! I felt like my posture was really good and I drove my knees a bit (not a ton because I wasn't going that fast). I just need to work on my turnover rate so my feet aren't so long on the ground. Was planning on going 2 miles but I went a little past the one-mile mark to turn around. Overall a good run!

| Went for a nice run out to the double churches in St. George and back to my parents house. It was a good run. Beautiful temperature for a run! I was looking around and just noticed how truly beautiful southern Utah is! But I felt smooth. I tried to have low contact time with the ground to keep my stride from getting lethargic at various points and that went well but I seemed to mindlessly return to my old ways pretty quickly. Did some upper-body stuff after that. Not trying to become huge just working on my upper-body strength so I can be a well-rounded runner. Good day overall!

| 6:30 AM- Nice and easy three miles. For about 1/2 mile I ran a bit quicker just to see what my legs still had in them. It was a good run. Beautiful weather for running! I felt good except my right calf was a bit tight. Overall good run.

| 6:30 AM- went out on that industrial road again. I was feeling crappy the first 1/2 mile, but then I started to feel real good leading into the 2nd mile (1st mile 7:37). I decided to do a mini-tempo for a mile and see how much kick I had in my legs and my lungs and so the second mile was faster. I felt really good though so that was a good sign! I felt really smooth and my form seemed to be doing well. I wasn't going way fast but I felt like I could've maintained that for another mile (2nd mile- 6:30). The last one I went slow because I didn't want to overtrain or hurt myself over a 3-mile run so I went about 8:30 pace the whole time. Overall a good run!

| 6:30 AM- Ran the same route I've been running each morning (best option thus far). Just getting in the swing of things. I might bump up the mileage a bit in a week or two. First mile was nice and easy (7:43) second mile ditto (7:54) last mile I went a little faster because I was working more on form (7:23). So not a super fast workout, but it was meant to be on the relaxed side. Glad to be running consistently again! I feel a lot better when I do.

| 7:30AM- went for a nice three-mile run. I felt really good the first half. I was running around 6:40 pace and wasn't really trying to run fast. Second mile was around 7:00 pace and the last one (which was mostly a slight up hill) I felt a bit suggish but was still going a good pace considering I was just going for a nice run. Average for the whole run- 7:18/mile. Going to do one more week of consistent 3-mile running and then I will start throwing in some mileage to get a base in. Happy to be running!
