VO2 Max for the second time this season with 2.5 mile warm up and 2 mile cool down. Ran with Josh for about 2 miles until he had to stop because of blisters. Ran the rest solo and was surprised how much further I was able to run since last time, almost 200 meters. I really like doing these VO2 Max tests because it's easy to see how much I'm improving. I think that if I can stay healthy, I can accomplish a lot this XC season. 3 miles in the afternoon.

8 miles with a 4 mile tempo this morning by the Thatcher's. Ran with Josh and felt pretty good. We left around noon to Koosharem for our first day of running camp. Easy 3 miles when we got there.

Second day of team running camp in Koosharem. We ran 8 miles by Fish Lake and picked it up a little bit for the last half. Got in the lake afterwards and it felt great. Another 3 in the afternoon when it was raining, it felt awesome to switch it up from the hot and dry and run in the cool and rainy!

Team relay this morning at the third day of team camp in Koosharem. We did a 2.5 mile warm up and then got into teams. I was on a team with Riley, David, Rachel, and Elyse. We each ran four .5 mile legs around a hay field by the ranch. There was a lot of pressure on me, being a camp relay defending champion, but I had confidence in my team. We dominated from the start and finished strong, finishing almost an entire leg ahead of second place. Some people say the teams weren't fair, that it wasn't fair to have only runners from the A group on our team, but I would have to disagree. We just pulled through in clutch time. Cooled down a mile and then 3 more miles in the afternoon again.

10 miles on this really cool trail in the mountains for our last day of team camp in Koosharem. Climbed almost 2000 feet in 5 miles to the top of the mountain. It was tough on the way up but we had a lot of fun on the way down. Awesome run to wrap up a great week of running!
