PRs: Fleet Feet Turkey Trot 5k- 19:46;  St. George Marathon  3:07:11(2013-- coming back from the dead)  Utah Valley Marathon 2011- 3:09:13 : D  1st place Master Division, 7th Overall; Mt. Nebo 1/2 Marathon 2011- 1:19:35- 2nd Overall,  first master. Ogden Marathon 3:14  (2010); 10K 2011 Speedy Spaniard 40:47.  I have run 43 marathons: 17 St. George (1995, 2006-2019, 2024,2025). Utah Valley (2011, 2014, 2025), Eiluj (2011), Deseret News (2015: 3:40 pacer  & 2023, 2025),  Ogden (2009, 2010), Boston (1996,2012,2014,2018, 2024,2025)Top of Utah (1999, 2011 pacer), and SLC (2006,2015), Pocatello (3:40 pacer 2012),park city marathon 3:41:53 (2013), and Big Cottonwood pacer (2017,2018,2025),  Nebo Marathon 340 pacer (2024)Timp trail marathon (2021) and three Ultras-Squaw Peak 51.25 miler 2010 in 12:05:27 (9th woman) and  Antelope Island  (32 miler) in  March 2011 (4th overall in 5:10:25) and in 2009.

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

2025-   Ran five marathons - 4/21 Boston 3:40, 6/7 Utah Valley 3:33, 7/24 Des News 3:41, 9/13 Big Cottonwood (pacer) 3:37, and INJURED BADLY ran SG #17 10/4 having not run since big C - 4:00:29. KNEE was giving me grief since utah valley, just before and it blew UP in Big C and had to stop running for a few months but I had signed up for Boston 2026 so here goes 2026 recovery...

2026 RUNNING GOALS:

Boston 2026 goal under 4 hours.

May 9th Farmington half pacer 2:10??

6/6/26=  UVM  3:45 pacer

Long-Term Running Goals:

Marathon--  PR (3:06 or better)

10k--  PR (under 40:47)

no energy after weekend and some person extended family troubles

walked 4.13 miles in 65 minutes  15:59 avg pace going up to 15 percent incline at 3.6 mph up every min 1 percent incline after starting at 0 then going to 3.5 mph for several minutes.  first 50 min 779 feet of gain in 3.13 miles then decided to read up on benifits of walking for running fitness so did more (here after i made it to 15 percent for a min i went to 10 incline for a min then to 7.5 mph then by 0.5 until at zero and speed at 4.7 mph.

then did 10 incline 3.5 mph x 1 min 15 incline x  2.5 min then to 7.5 mph for  90 secs then back to 15 incline for 2.5 min then 5 mph until 1 mile and speed increasing

ran next to a guy who also ran the boston marathon (3:07)

talked for 10 min then realized I better start

started slow slow slow like 12 min mile but by 6.68 miles with tm reset I was at at 8:59 avg having run last two miles or so at 8:34-8:27 pace

reset and ran 1.32 miles 8:28 avg to get to 8 miles   so much sweat   i was creaking at first then felt better

lifted for 20 min 10 pounds each hand   stretched
