slept over at brooke and david's home so i could get more time with my first grandbaby :D   we slept on their couch from 1030 to 4   I got up 3 times finally fell asleep woke during a dream to alarm at 4 am.  Made it to parking at 445 am walked to meet up said  good bye to amber who was running her long run with a half in the middle (she is running her first marathon june 6th utah valley.  she ran 18 today instead of 20 bc legs were killing she said.

3:57:37 but gun over 3:58.   I was at 1:56:50 at the half.  so that would be a 3:54 now that i see my data we ran slower second half my legs had a hard time in joints of hips, knees and my feet were burning and lower back but no wall.

here are splits... i had to slow myself greatly the last 2-3 miles trying to not get chippy close to finish.  last 0.32 miles was 9:41 avg and felt like i was walking.  cody and i did great together and we had very cool group from the start nearly to the finish.  one a junior in high school and his buddy who left us after mile 15 (fell back) and about 7- 8 others talking to us the entire route except last two miles it got spread out and darn coty's stomach acted up at mile 18 and I was wondering what to do and kept looking back to see if he was gaining and would slow pace but at finish he came in at 4:02:38 and i knew something had bugged him so he told me.
