Slept from 8am to noon.  Wake up nauseated every time.  Just body not liking sleeping during morning.  So I drink a cold glass of water, it helps and gear up.  Actually look forward now to these runs.  High noon, sun out.  Freezing but that doesn't matter.  Wore shorts, , headband, gloves, nylon t-neck and my infamous SGM finisher shirt from 1995.  The one with the big sun on it.  Still love it.  Was going to do 5 but felt too good so kept going.  Thighs reddish but didn't bother me.  Ran easy which I didn't have much idea of feel.  When it is cold it is hard to tell.  My breathing was very un-labored and it was one of those runs you feel you could keep going and going so I kept adding on going in the the old town of PG on broken sidewalks etc...very enjoyable.  Course tooled route at 9.35 so pace 8:23.  Very easy.  Work tonight.  Off tomorrow (from running), do you think I could contain myself.  Gearing up for 20 on JRP Saturday.   Course tooled the run starting at Melanie's house.  Would be a very nice flattish course, brief hills around Thanksgiving Point and the turn around would be at just over the point of the mount (prison).  So hope it is not freeeeezzzzzing.  There is really no wind cover there.   OH well :D.  Must toughen up.

it is downright bitter cold today. i will be joining you next week as a night-shifter. i jumped back into my old job at a bakery for temporary christmas help. 2 weeks of 10 pm - 10 am shifts! glad you felt good today on your run. those days are the best. i am not sure i have had one of those since the summer!

WAY to get out there and run in the cold. The sun does help for some reason. You're so funny...like an energizer bunny...just don't know when to quit. All your runs are longer than you originally planned. Sounds like a GREAT 20 miler planned for Sat. Wish I could join you. Are you guys running on the Lehi JRP? It can get pretty windy on the north end. Can't wait to read about it! Get some sleep!

Way to get out in the cold. 'Tis the time of year for red legs and a red face. When it is cold I also got this red circle right around my belly button to--on the bit of pizza dough left over from pregnancy. It looks funny to see that big red spot on all that winter-white skin. A 20-miler woohoo--are you sure you won't accidentally go 22 because you feel good? :)
