Today was my older kids first day of school.  So I ran my 10 miles on the treadmill while watching Batman.

I met the group at Riverton High.  We ran a 2.8 mile warm up.  Then a few of us went to the track.  Peggy had us run 6 x 800's with a 400 recovery after each one.  I ran them with Cheris and Michelle N.  My times were:

3:32    3:26    3:21   3:20    3:22   3:25

I love this work out.  I wish could have stayed longer and got a few more repeats in.  I had to get home to get my kids off.  I ran 2 more miles on the treadmill after my son left.

The morning's are getting darker and colder every day.  I will be so sad when summer is over.  6.5 miles outside - then 2 more miles on the treadmill between kids leaving for school.  Average pace  9:15. 

My big news for the day.... I got the employee of the month at work.  We had an ice cream party, so of course I had to have some.

Angela and I had to be home early today, so we did our own run.  Michelle had an upset stomach and didn't make it.   It sounds like the BB's had a great run.  I'm sorry we missed it.  

We ran down on the trail out to 14400 and back.  Then I came home and ran 1 more mile on the treadmill after Taylor left.  Average pace 8:20.

I thought it would be so great to sleep in until 6:30 and then run after my kids left for school.  Not a good idea.  I started at 9:00.  About 1 1/2  miles out I was so dizzy and light headed I thought I might pass out.  So I came back home and ate some sports beans.  Then I drove down to the trail and ran another 7.5 miles.  It was hot and boring and everything from my hips down kind of ached.   I don't normally eat anything before I run.  But today because of the late start I ate my oatmeal about 1 1/2 hours before I ran.  I am looking forward to my day off from running tomorrow.
