We had a great run today.  Michelle and I met Angela again at the Albertsons in Draper.  We ran up 12300 S. and then to Wasatch Blvd.  Angela only wanted to run 14, so we turned around at 7miles and went back.  Then Michelle and I got on the Porter Rockwell trail.  We went out 3 miles and back.  Miles 14-17 felt hard.  When we turned around at mile 17 I felt so much better.  I think it is a mental thing for me.  We pushed ourselves hard at the end. The last mile was 7:45.  We finished in 2:46.  Average pace 8:20.  That was my fastest 20 miles ever.  I came home and took an ice bath for 20 minutes.  I feel really good.   I know we could've gone another 6 miles if we had to.

Great job!! It's nice to have those long runs that inspire confidence in running the marathon.

GREAT JOB!!! You guys just amaze me, seriously (and motivate me to get my butt in gear!) 20 miles is a HUGE accomplishment, especially when it is not a race!! WAY TO GO!

Hey, great job today. I am so glad (now) that you got my butt up on Wasatch cuz I think it is really paying off. I think we will do great at St. George (if our bowels will cooperate)!!!
