I got up at 4:15 this morning.  I met at Cheris' house and Peggy drove the three of us to the race.  We warmed up for about 10 minutes before the start.  My splits were

Mile 1  7:02

Mile 2  6:58

Mile 3  7:15

Mile 4  7:16

Mile 5  7:01

Mile 6  7:22

last .2 ave pace 7:23

I was hoping for 44 minutes, so I was happy with my time.  I really need to practice my downhill form.  I can feel that I hold myself back.   After the race, we ran an easy 3 miles to cool down.  We went back and watched Sasha finish the marathon.  He was amazing to see.
