I love the 5k. It was a great start to the season and I’m excited to build off of it. 18:00, which was the exact goal lol. 17:22 through 3 miles. Came through 3200 in 11:26 which is a 3200 pr by 6 seconds. Excited to race again. I need to stop setting goals that are possibly limiting because I’m capable of hitting them. Last meet I hit exactly what I wanted in the 1500, this meet exactly what I wanted in the 18:00. I need I start hanging in workouts because clearly I am capable of it. I just needed a race like today to prove it to myself I think.
