PM: 36-mile ride. HR 143.

Had a little bourbon before the ride. Young folks reading (or older folks) don't be like Jason.

Tried to take down a segment that wasn't super firm, but missed by 1 second. It would have brought the sharks out anyway as the segement isn't too firm and the fast guys would jump on it. That section of road is fast right now. I did just under 27MPH (only 60 seconds or so), but did 480 watts. Needless to say, my quads are starting to outpace my calves.

You know, I might be focused on the wrong thing here, but I'm curious what you call "a little."

A few shots (it was the really fancy kind), but basically "a little" really means "too much."

I don't have a standard shot glass but I use these tiny coffee cups (they really are tiny) that Megan's uncle gave us from someone who was from Turkey? Somewhere. I cannot recall.

Man, no way I could go 36 miles, and cap out at 27 mph, after that! It makes it more impressive I think. This is better than a beer mile!
