Lunchie: 5 mile lunch run around the base. Good to get out, even in this heat.
PM: 10 miles with Matt Will. Meet at McCallister park. almost opted out for the tread, but was convinced to go out in the heat. Glad I did, definitely pushed myself more running with him. Did a 2 mile warm up on the trails, then 6 mile push at about 32:56 with last mile in 5:19, on the 3 mile road loop. Great LT loop for the future when the weather drops. Temps were about 98 degrees for the workout. A lot tougher effort and better gains doing this workout, especially mentall. Cardio felt great, legs a bit tired form the 91 miles in the 5.5 days in Nashville. Felt strong though. 2 mile cool down on trails.
