late morning - 20 Dimple Dell. Hoped that some trail running down in the Dimple Dell Canyon would perk me up a bit. Passes numerous host of Turkey-Bowlers while I head the mile up the road to the Granite Park access for my little Thanksgiving tradition of a great trail run. It was enjoyable, at times, but also a bit of a struggle. I tried not to fight the parts that were tough - tough both physically and mentally - and just enjoy the parts that were fun. The best part, like always was down in the stream bottom on the single track, so I doubled back on that section and actually headed up it again. Ran about half the run shirtless... on Thanksgiving... in Salt Lake. Crazy. (NB 101 293.25) |
