AM - 7.25 Twix/2xAC. A little with the dog and then to practice earlier than usual with some of the girls; fun to run with them; and then normal 20 mins with the boys. (Peg blue 66.25)

afternoon - 9 track/dirt mile. I get so bugged by people, ahh... Parents just need to shut up and realize that sometimes coaching a team requires a view of things bigger than what might be best for Little Johnny! The passive aggressive ones are the worst - just shut up; there is a reason you're not a coach, you know nothing! But today's workout was good. Warmed and cooled with 3x1600's. I ran with next year's Varsity crew, and they did awesome. We are going to give it all a solid shot through track and into XC next year. Plan was 10-20 secs slower than 5K pace, then on, and finish with 10-20 faster all with 3 min recovery. We went 5:50, 5:30 and 5:10. Totally nailed it. Got home and added a bit with Pyper.
