morning - 22 Icehouse.  Took the trail up Icehouse and then to the trailhead at Broken Mesa with a large group of us.  A pretty solid run.  Even with all the climbing (app. 2300 ft in 9 miles) I felt good.  It was like Wild Kingdom as we raced a small herd of 7 deer up the Icehouse climb; then when we got on top we saw a large herd of probably 100 deer moving across the mesa.  We chased them for a few miles and saw a few nice bucks.  Then we heard a few coyotes out howling.  And it was nice, as I timed my fall much better than last time (on the lava) and fell on some nice soft dirt and only knocked my breath out. (Cumulus gold 194.45)

Good week.  Kind of a pain with PT's and that crazy schedule.  But mileage was good (I should have taken the dog out today and hit 100+, but I needed to work in the yard and I was tired).

Goals for next week:  Get back into the weight room (missed both times last week because of PT schedule), and be right up near the century mark if I am feeling good - really it is just about mileage and time on the feet all spring.
