Pipeline extravaganza. well not really an extravaganza but a really fun run nonetheless ,... one of those trail days where the views on the trail were fantastic because the snow was fun and new and no one on the trail.. bit slippery but not bad
Pipeline up from birch hollow in about 10 new inches of snow. Beautiful. Sucked out the energy at mile 2 as was somewhat blazing trail from 1.5 on...and i was hungry...sweeet day. Microspikes worked great...just tore up my medial malleolus as usual...will need to try the rivets. I think the microspikes may be better for the softish snow that needs a deeper more substantial traction.. but I will try the other and see.
