Bells Canyon Reservoir became my treadmill today.  I started out on the Little Cottonwood side parking lot and ran the great switchback entry to the lake and then did a loop around figuring I would go down to the gully trails, but the day was so nice and no one was around and the views up Bells Canyon are always stunning...so I just kept looping the lake which is just under a mile loop.  I repeated 7-8 times and with some offshoots and headed back.  Beautiful day at a very slow pace.  Made me happy which was great because I started out pissed for some reason.

Bustn out the whooping stick! Nice. You got me running scared for the running of the buffalo!

Nice trail run! It was so beautiful yesterday. It was my off day from running yesterday and after I dropped off my 4 yr old at preschool I was going to run down to the trailhead and head up Bells too. I probably would have passed you somewhere and never new it! ha! I ended up getting a call from our real estate agent on my way home that someone wanted to come through our house, so I ended up cleaning instead of enjoying the day! I'm glad you got out and it cheered you up. My day started out happy and it ended with me pissed! haha!

I sure love it up there. Looping that lake just seems like a genius idea. The trail is perfect and the scenery is ideal.
