AM:  Long run with Kathleen, Mary, JP (ATC marathon group); this felt like a big workout;

2000 feet elevation gain;

felt good because the temperature was around F63 really unusual for ATL in August

nice job with the long run -- sounds like you were climbing quite a bit with that much elevation gain in atlanta! glad the temps were pleasant.

My Garmin must have been off; also under the weather; 2000 feet is not possible; needed to recalculate this; so it is probably more 1000 -1500 feet elevation gain according to a fellow runner's Garmin data. Need to map this out.
