I was going to go do a run down the marathon course this morning with the club, but I just couldn't get myself out of bed at 4:00 am. Anyway, I ended up heading out around 10:30 when it was nice a warm and did a 5 mile tempo run from mile 6 marker out by Anderson Junction. I did a two mile warm-up
1-6:22 2-6:16- this is supposed to be a fast mile, but I couldn't get anything going
3-6:35 4-6:47 most difficult mile 5-6:21 32:25 (6:29) Two mile cool down I really wasn't all that happy with this workout. I just seemed to struggle, legs felt heavy the entire time. The week was better than last week, but still not where I need to be. My right knee has still been bothering me quite a bit, so trying to be careful with that.
