Didn't run again today, still a lot of soreness in my calf, did massage it pretty good tonight.  We bought a used jogging stroller tonight over in St. George, so hopefully it will work for Sunny and she can get in some miles outside, rather than on the dreadmill.

Did my La Verkin 5K route in 22:09 which was a 7:09 average. Last week I ran it in 24:13 for a 7:49 average. Calf muscle is still tender and limiting my training. Did 1 mile cool down easy.

Busy day and evening. I was able to do a nice 6 mile loop over to Hurricane, past the Chevron then south to 400 South and back home. Average pace was 7:29 not bad considering the calf still hurting and the very strong headwind for 3 miles, plus the hill going into Hurricane and then the hill coming back. I really felt like I was leaning forward to battle the wind, almost felt like I was Jose.

Shortest mileage I've ever recorded. I jogged a half mile over to watch Jansen's soccer game at La Verkin Elementary.  The entire way over my calf was really hurting, so when the game was over I scrapped the rest of my run and just came home plopped down on the couch and watched the Jazz game.  Sunny tried to workout some of the knots in my calf, but I think it might be time to call April.

I went over and watched the run for kids race this morning. I jogged down to the 2 mile marker and cheered people on there, then ran over to the highway and finished the last two miles uphill with the wildbull. 5.6 miles of running, calf still felt tight but I managed. Sunny is wanting to go out this afternoon and do the La Verkin 5K loop, so I'll probably go with her and try pushing Jarren in the stroller.
