5 mile run out to my school averaged 7:55 pace, so a little faster than the other day. I was going to run home, but wasn't feeling the greatest so I had Sunny come pick me up. I don't think I'm going to run the Ogden Marathon now. I think the plan will be to just do the Utah Valley and then St. George in the fall. By doing Utah Valley this will give me one more month to get into shape hopefully.

Interesting 5 mile run. I started out and ran over to the water tank east of Zion View Estates, then I climbed up the very steep portion of Nephi's Twist trail. Anyway between the climbing and walking the first 3 miles averaged about 11 minute pace. I know pretty slow, but I was really sweating, way over dressed but that is good maybe it helped some with my weight loss program. Ok, once I got up on top I was near the highway and decided to just run a 2 mile tempo down the La Verkin Twist. I was interested to see where my speed is at. I hit 12:38 for the 2 miles so 6:17 avereage, I guess I got my answer I really don't have any speed right now, thee good thing was I didn't feel totally spent from the tempo.

| Ran with Clyde, Ruth, and Bill. We just did a loop from the Dixie Center. The pace was a little faster than I've been running around 7:30, but I kept up for the most part. |

I drove up to the road going to the La Verkin Overlook, then ran from there out to the cracks and then down toward the river. Overall 6 mile run, I felt ok, fun to run on some trails I've never been on before. |
