I started feeling really good about my calf and achilles. My intent was to finish off the 1000 miles for the year and then take the rest of the week off. however, about 1.65 into my run I started to roll my ankle on something (running in the dark) and I instinctively hopped to my left leg. My left calf immediately spasmed hard. It was a spasm that wouldn't let up. I turned around and limp jogged home taking a short cut as well. The calf is still quite painful almost 10 minutes after getting home. this is very frustrating! |
