Easy run arount the greenbelt at noon.  Ran partway with  a coworker who is just getting into running and turned back after 1.5 miles.  Beautiful day with 50 f and light breeze.  Not much left to do now but hope I stay healthy for the next 4 days!  My daughter came down with the  flu yesterday....

Stay away from that flu bug. Not sure how to do that, but stay clean and get your rest.

I made it to the gym today and did 5 minutes on the Arc Trainer, lifted some light weights, and then managed 1/4 mile on the treadmill at an easy pace. The ankle felt pretty good. I could feel some discomfort, but nothing too bad. I'm confident that I will be ready by Saturday. I will try for a good noon run tomorrow around the greenbelt...short loop.

It's great to hear your ankle is better! Take it easy running this week. Are you staying for the kids K after the race? My 8-year old wants to run it.

My three boys want to run as well. I might run back to my sister-in-laws to shower between my run and the kids k, but I should be there. I will most likely run it with them...if I have anything left. I would pace my 9 yr old and my wife would pace my 6 and 11 yr olds. Should be fun...just wish it was earlier, but I understand they want to clear the marathoners off the path first.
