Short morning on the TM.  I spent half my time on a stair stepper waiting for a TM.

The health club is preparing to remodel and has essentially quit maintaining their treadmills based on getting new ones "in the spring."  Until they get the new treadmills,  finding a funtional one is getting tough.  Six were not working right and the rest were full.   I complained to the desk person today - she was very sympathetic.

Noon - Went outside for a greenbelt run.  It was snowing heavily with about 2 inches of mashed potato quality snow on the path.  After falling twice, I settled into a slow pace and made the 5 mile loop.  I am very ready for spring, but suspect this will be one of those Idaho winter to summer transition years where the temperature goes from 45 to 86 one day in June.  Temp - 29 F

You are nuts for running in this today. I will be on the TM tonight at home as I could not get to the gym at lunch. Way to get the miles in despite the extended winter.

Long run this weekend? I will be in Ogden hoping for better weather.

Your right, cabin fever made me go outside and I did not even bring the studded shoes. My first fall I heard a loud crack that I thought was my elbo. Fortunately, it was just ice hidden under the snow. If all goes well I am planning a 17 miler for the weekend. Too bad you aren't around to join me. Enjoy your weekend in Ogden and look for shortcuts we can use in the marathon course!
