Made a short run out on the desert today.   Before running, I had a strange pain in the lower back and down my leg.  It seemed to work out during the run and eventually went away.  So apparently running makes me feel better.    2 miles  at 7:30, 1.2 miles at 7:45

Don't push it and get yourself injured.

That's right. Don't push an injury. Do as I say...not as I do. :) You have been posting some nice paces. You need to get real lazy after Ogden, so I can try to catch up to you. I need a running partner.

Good advice. I will try to stay in one piece for the marathon. Fortunately, the pain has not returned today and I feel fine. Although it is (in a masochistic way) fun to see how much speed my old bones can muster training for a marathon, I am looking forward to the lazy days again!
