I have ran three marathons. SGM in 2005, Ogden in 2006, and SGM 2006. My best time in a marathon is Ut. Valley Marathon 3:59:46. I have ran seven half marathons, some 10k's and 5k"s. My favorite marathon is SGM.I have ran 13 Marathons, will be during my first Ultra in march of 2013, it will be the Antalope Island Buffalo Run, a 50k.
2008 SGM PR 4:02:23 The best is yet to come. Short-Term Running Goals: Short term running goal is to increase my four days a week of running to five to six days a week. Do more speed work this coming year. Bring my times down. I would like to do SGM in 4 hrs or less. Long-Term Running Goals: Keep up with my Brother Clay in a marathon, someday do a sub four hour marathon, and BQ. Personal: I have been married for 34Years, and am still madly in love with my wife Wendy. I have four children and six Grand children.

| I had the day off today and decided to do a longer seeing how I missed it on sat. I went out over harry's hill and did the slame canal route back to home. very nice weather the sun was blazing away and felt good to be outside. It is my goal for this week to have a good week of training cross my fingers. |

| I did the golf course loop today kinds of windy, well not kind of. The wind was coming strong from the southwest made for a difficult run at times. It was still a great run though. I did spned 25 min on bowflex upper body and some crunches. |

| My legs are feeling real whack today so I kept things on the easy side today. I did the Old Bishop Storehouse route with some graduale to flat downhill and uphill. Nice weather for a run the best this week, sounds like things will go downhill weather wise for the rest of the week. We will just try and hang tuff. |

| I did the old golf course loop, was not even going to go out wind was blowing hard and it looked like snow. So I changed my attitiude and was able to get it done. My legs this week have been tired this week. I will take tomorrow off and hopfully get in a long run on sat. |

| Today my legs were feeling good the foirst few miles so I made the decision to try and get in a good long run today. I went up over harrys hill into salem and came out by the stk center. Headed back to gu cornoer and did the golf course loop to home. Nice morning even though I had to put up with a few snow showeres here and there. I would rather run in snow than rain. It has been a good week of training, feeling good at this point. |
