| | 3, Neighborhood- Took Sophie out with a new leash I made for her. It's pretty snazzy. My first time running in awhile. Started out kinda fast with the whole excitement thing but soon slowed down considerably. Side aches, sore muscles, and just ulghf. Certainly not my best run. |

| | 3, AC- A lot better than yesterday. I was quite sore all day today from the run yesterday...yeah. I ended up starting later than I had originally wanted but I'm glad I was able to go out. The run felt great. Smooth and relaxed. My calves were a bit tight at the end. I was kinda surprised at how much I missed doing the Arctic Circle route. After High School I avoided it as much as possible. Afterwards I stretched and rolled. |

| | 4, Mall Dr.- Mall Drive but ended by coming up 2450 rather than continuing along Riverside Dr. Decent run, not the best but certainly not the worst. Stretched and rolled after. Need a running buddy. |

| | 5, Quail Canal Trail- Trail I've never been on with the High School Team. Way fun, although I'm still kinda sore and out of shape so I didn't feel the best. Trail is a 2.5 mile loop so turned it around and ran it backwards the second time. |

| | 8.5, BH/LV- Met up with Sean and Rodney this morning and ran the eight mile loop they recently started doing which turned out to be 8.5. I had forgotten to stretch after the run yesterday so I was pretty sore. Around the 4 mile mark I finally started to feel warmed up, but at about 5 miles I started chafing horribly. We took it at a real easy pace which felt good. |

| | 4.5, Neighborhood- Rather upset that I couldn't go with the team today. Ran by myself for the first 3.5 then ran with my dad and Sophie on her loop. My shins are killing me. I don't think they have ever hurt this bad before. I got home and iced them then wore my sleeves to bed. |

| | 6.25, Foremaster- Around mile 2.5 or so my shins started hurting again, although not as much as last night. Then we stopped at the Slick Rock Park to wait for Devo and Mike and they started to kill. Once we started moving again they didn't hurt quite as bad but more so then before. Tomorrow I think I will either take the day off or just keep it really low mileage in order to keep the pressure off a bit. We'll see. |

| | 6, PVHS- Ran down to the HS and decided to do some barefoot to see if it would help my shins not hurt so much. It worked. Running on the grass felt so much better on my shins, still hurt, but not as much. Four miles around the baseball field can be a bit tedious, even with periodically stopping to stretch the shins. Got home and stretched and iced them up. |

| | 7.5, My run- Firestation desert. One of my favorite routes. The first half of the run was difficult, shins were hurting and just super tired. Last half was great, shins weren't hurting as much. Still laugh at the thought of what must have been going through Mike's mind. "I thought you said Hippos!" |

| | 3, Sndstn- Ran with my dad and Sophie down to Sandstone Elementary did a mile around the track then ran home. Not very far, but I want to take it easy for a few days and try to get my Shins to start feeling better. I've been icing them a bunch and it has certainly been helping. Today they hurt less than they have been lately. But still pretty badly. |

| | 6, Washington Fields- Ran with Trev out and around Nickels Peak. Great run. Shins are feeling a ton better and great to see Trev again and catch up on life. Towards the end I started to feel pretty tired and junky. I need to make sure I keep taking care of my legs. |

| | 7, Shinob Kibe- HS team with Trev and Corey. Ran/Hiked to the top. My legs were so tired. On the way up I kept asking myself why I suggested running this route but now I'm glad I did. It was a way fun run. Legs are tired and need to be stretched. |

| | 8, Albino- One of my Favs! Legs feel like they're coming back. They didn't hurt today, just tired afterwards. Need to make sure I don't get complacent in my stretching. |

| | 6, Target- showed up a bit late due to class but was able to catch up relatively quick. The first mile or so my shins were acting up again but felt better the rest of the way. Ended with 8 x Striders.

| | AM: 3, Tread- Decided to do an easy 3 at the Fitness center. I have to do some fitness something or other for my class anyway, thought I'd do my morning run there. They have some pretty nice Treadmills there. I've decided I need to work my feet and legs up to the fivefingers again. It has been awhile and my legs were hurting. After 3 miles on Tread I finished with 10 min on the bike and 15 on the Oliptical (didn't like that one). PM: 6.75, Chukawala- Man, I am tired. My legs haven't been this tired for a long time. They didn't hurt aside from the random jolts of pain. Sweet trail though! Very pretty and great weather. Got home and calves were pretty tight and sore.

| | 6, GreenSprings- New Greensprings loop that didn't end up being as far as hoped so had to extend it out to DI Loop as well. Pretty good run, legs felt fine but I could tell they were sore and needed stretching. Weights after. |
