Today was a bare foot run and I had a cut on my foot so the run was kindof painful, but at the same time it felt great.

I feel kind of like a wimp because we have been running 4 and 5 miles, but I would rather run 3 miles on grass and barefoot than run 4 or 5 miles on grass and barefoot.

it was good. it felt good to not get up at seven, instead I got up and went running at 7:30.

We ran in the Washington Fields today. It feels good to change it up a little bit.

Today we ran on the Hell Hole trail. I decided while I was running that Hells Hole was a good name for that run because it was a painful run, but there was also like three hills we had to run up. And then on top of that we had to do striders when we got back. I did not feel good after this run today.

Todays run was awesome. In the morning we ran 5 miles at the dirt mile, thank Heavens it was our last time doing that. And then in the afternoon today we lifted weights and ran 3 more miles. it actually wasnt as bad as I thought it would be.

today, like every friday, we ran in a different spot. todays run was at Vernon Worthen Park in the middle of the city. I am not sure that I liked running in the city, there are too many blocks.

Today our first run of the day was in St. George. At about 12:00 p.m. we made our way up to Pine Lake for our 2011 PVXC High Altitude Camp. we ran 5 in SG and 3 at PL.

Today we ran 4 miles into Green Springs to the house with the big white pillars. And then in the afternoon we ran in the miserable heat fo just 3 miles and we did weights after we ran the 3 miles.

Today we did 3 miles in the morning and then at 3:45ish we headed for Cedar High School for the Cedar All Comers XC Meet. We ran 3 miles for the warm-up then we did the race, which was 3.1 miles then we did like a mile for the cool down. I really felt like I have improved since last season and that all of the extra running that I have done has definately paid off. I set my goal at the beginning of the summer to be 17:30, now I have to set a new goal since my time today was 17:26. I think my goal will be 16:30 now. I also hope to run a few varsity races.

Sorry, it has been a really long time since I have updated my blog. Today we ran an easy 5 miles to Silver Stone 2 in Green Springs. Today was also the last day of our moring practices for a while. It gets tiring but it is worth it when you become a Varsity runner and you improve all the time. I promise for those that are reading this blog and wondering if you should run more, you should really run more! Because I promise that the HARD WORK that you do will pay off and that everybody will recognize it. :) Remember HARD WORK will pay off when your passing people and you can say to them, "See you at the finish line!" , and you totally kick thier trash!
