Running Accomplishments:

Pretty new. Have done some training for specific Army competitions which have got me running a pretty decent amount, but by no means incredible.

10 mile- (upcoming)

1/2 marathon- (haven't done it yet)

Marathon - Hopefully this year...

Short-Term Running Goals:

Sub 19:00 5k

Run one marathon within the next 12 months

Stay healthy this year. Coming off of a bad shin splint which took about 3-4 months to fully recover.

Build back up to 60+ miles a week

Long-Term Running Goals:

Finish a marathon sub 3:00:00 

Personal:

A CPT in the US Army stationed at Fort Benning, GA. I've three wonderful kids and the best wife I could ask for. Been away from the running scene for a while, and I sure miss it. Trying to make a comeback!

My last run in Cincinnati... :( I leave tomorrow for Italy without the family and then off to Afghanistan about a month from now. It will be sad. I am sad already now, but what can you do. There are people in the world who need our help, not to mention hoping to keep this country safe from another 9/11 type attack. Somebody has to do it, may as be me! 

It was a good run though, I averaged a 7:09 pace for the 5 miles, which is my fastest 5 mile run in quite some time. It felt really good to get that low again. Here are my splits: 

7:33   7:10   7:12   6:57   6:53 = 35:45

My next run will be in Italy!
