So today I was feeling pretty good and decided to let go and see how fast I could push myself on a five mile run. Granted I didn't go all out, but since I have been running at 8:30 pace the last few weeks, I wanted to see how I could do. I ended up running it in 37:00 exactly with my last mile at a 6:40 pace. Like I said, I wasn't giving it my all, but I was happy with that time and felt good about a 6:40 mile as my last mile. Tomorrow will be a slower recovery run. |
