7 miles this morning on the treadmill. I was sick all day on Sunday and questioned the run this morning. I got up and felt o.k. but decided that staying inside would be the best option. I may end up using the treadmill more now through the cold part of the winter.

7 more miles on the treadmill. I started watching season 2 of Prison Break to pass the time. I'm still packing around a little head cold so the inside running won't hurt me.

7 miles this morning on the treadmill again. Prison Break kept my mind off the run. Felt a little crabby this morning. I need to shake this sickness as soon as possible.

7 miles this afternoon on the treadmill. More Prison Break. I think I might be starting a pattern for the rest of the week.

7 miles on the treadmill and another episode and a quarter of Prison Break. I put it up to 12% incline and was going to do it for like 2 miles..... but just over .25 miles into that I was passing out and had to drop it back down again.

8 miles this afternoon. Went up on the power line/ GS loop. It felt good to get outside and off the TM. Nice and sunny out but there is still a chill in the air. I think it is around 45 out right now. My body just keeps acting like it's cold. Even though the summer is long and hot I've decided I like it a lot better than winter. But I really like fall and spring.

9 mile run this afternoon after work. Pretty good run. I just kept it low key and ran what felt good. Went up to Power line and over to water tank through industrial and back the long way. Clipped off a couple of 6 min/miles on easy effort coming down into the industrial park and then coasted home at 6:30 pace.

7 miles on TM with Prison Break. When I got up this morning there was no way I wanted to run. But I turned Prison Break on and was glued there. That show is pretty addictive.

No running today. We had our wrestling tournament here in STG. For the first time in my 6 years of coaching I got into it with an referee and he tossed me out. It was actually pretty fun. I told him I wasn't going anywhere and we argued for a while and then I just decided to go out for a while before I said some really nasty stuff. I came home and an hour later my wife called and said that I could come back as long as I stayed up in the head table. Anyways an interesting way to end a long weekend. I'm just so tired of all the bad calls they make and there is no accountability for them.

I guess that's one reason I really love running events. Because the kids and only the kids decide the outcome. Sure there are a few officials to make sure we follow the rules but there are no judgment calls that someone can screw up.
