60 min's on the elliptical. Body needed to stay in motion today. Not a hard effort. Smooth workout to get a sweat going and that's about it.

Big boy workout... number-...LASTONE :)

Warmed up from the DC over around Southgate GC for 3.6 miles

Plan was to do a 5 mile MP temp around the mayors loop clockwise. Then do a one mile jog recovery and then a 2 mile LT tempo from the DC up to River Road

First 5 mile tempo seemd so so. Not bad. Not great. I just hung back and while Logan kept the foot on the gas. So I'd push a little and close the gap. Then back off a little. Seemed that went on the whole time. Ended with a 5:33 avg for that section.

1 mile jog for recovery

2 mile LT tempo. Wanted to go out strong but knew following the 5 miler that I wouldn't be able to go for my PR of 10:13... plus it was dark. Like you can't see JACK for about 300m on one section in the first mile. So I went 5:10, 5:21 for a 10:31 2 mile. Pretty good for and basically hit the workout as I'd planned on doing. That's always a plus.

Logan ran great... again. He's been killing me in all the workouts. And for all the crap we give him... I think the SPECIAL LITTLE GUY is gonna ROCK the marathon. Maybe even PR. He's running greart and it's fun to see. A little hariy though and that part is gross.

3 mile cool down. 2 with the guys. 1 solo

B-hills and around Piolt. Temps were lovely this morning. So much so that I wore a shirt. But later regretted it. Slow and EZ recovery run from yesterday. It would have been better if I'd gotten out yesterday afternoon but it didn't happen. Re-doing the driveway with pavers and then landscaping the front yard post house addition. Extra labor equals extra trashed...

4 more miles on the treadmill

A mix of B-hills and stuff today. Temps were nice again. Felt so so too. 6:55 avg. Got home and found out that Bob my cycling friend got in a bad wreck this moring on his bike. He hit a big rock in the road out in the dark and went down. Got hit from the back by another friend Shane. Bob is in the ER with broken pelvis, clavical, ribs, and head trama... bad deal. Heal well my friend. Thoughts are with you and family. Bummer.

Same loop as yesterday but with a little potty extra. Warm today... warmer that is. I was a sleep out in the darkness for at least 6 miles of this. Hip hurt... it's been weeks since it hurt like it did today... come on! Really?!!!!

Just ran around the "house" area today. No big run with anyone. I worked in the yard until after 10 p.m  and hauled a flat bed trailer full of 75-100lbs rocks in. Then built a wall out of them. So I just didn't know what I'd be up for this morning. As it turns out... not much. 7:11 avg for the run and I didn't hit anything below a 7:00 mile until mile 9. Just dragging. It was warm for the first 4 miles of the run then I had rain the rest so that was nice. Saw a massive full rainbow. Best one I've seen in years.

143.5 lbs after the run.
