DC then the Secret St. Really kind of in a rutt right now. Just draggin on almost every run. The marathon at the first of June can't come quick enough as I'm ready for some kind of break from the day to day grind. Another week and a half and then I can start the taper... oh how sweet that sounds. The overnight low was only 68 F so it was warm out this morning and I'm preparing for a very hot afternoon.

Racing more often means more weeks to taper. That's half the reason why I like to race. Could you mix in a half before UV (which I assume you are running)?

I'd take a half for sure. I looked for one a few weeks ago for around this time but nothing really worked for us. I'm not doing UV though. It's a marathon Ojai California called Ojai to Ocean on June 3rd.

Good luck at Ogden this weekend!

A couple of trips to the lake and you will be good to go again:)

Dude, that's EXACTLY the way I was feeling towards the end of April. Just run down and frustrated with not hitting solid times in workouts. That's why I did Provo--Newport felt AGES away and I needed something to mix things up.

You'll get your mind/body right before June 3rd. Plenty of time to rest up and then bust a good one on race day!
