Club run from the new Washington park. Kind of a big fields loop up River Road. Then Logan and I extended up under the freeway in the Dogtown and then back to the park. I didn't check the pace but we were under 7 min all day. I'm guessing around a 6:45 avg but Logan will have to verify.

I'm almost embarrassed to post a long run and so many miles the week of a marathon. It just looks foolish. But I've felt great all week so I just ran. I guess if I burn out or get injured then hide sight will show I should have backed off. But at this point it just feels natural. Hoping to keep the razor sharp and improving... then bust another marathon off around May/June. So between now and then maybe a half and some other stuff.

Great run Clyde!! It's always a blast to run with the club. You sure are running good for the week after a marathon! Maybe your just taking things to a new level!

I think as long as you keep the intensity down, let the nervous system recover a bit, and you are honest with yourself about how you feel - you'll be fine.

What are you thinking for May / June?

Ever been to Grandmas? We are going up for the 1/2 champs. Its a great marathon course too. You can fly to duluth super cheap from vegas.

Thanks Mike. Your gonna rock Boston.

Jake- I've kind of been thinking about San Diego. But since Modesto I'm starting to shop around for something else. I've looked at Grandmas in the past but never been. I'll check it out.
