B-hills loop. 46 F out this morning and felt warm by the end. Legs felt Mondayish. Groin and upper right thigh were at around a 3 this morning. I didn't stretch yesterday and should have. Need to stay on top of it this week for sure.

7 more miles @ noon. I thought I'd waited long enough to go back out for a second run after breakfast and taking pills.... Nope. About 3 miles into the run my Omega 3 pill (fish oil) started to breakdown about halfway down my throat. This is one of the grossest things (that I've let happen multiple times) in my life. Every breath and burp tastes and smells like rotting fish. At first I fought off the gag reflex but with less than 2 miles to go I just wanted to barf... get it out! Stopped and dry heaved three times but nothing came up. Finally finished the run and could barely muster another breath- an awful, awful outing on what was going to be a super spring day run with no shirt. 76 F was the high but in the end I think the heat actually intensified my symptoms on the run. Got home and grabbed a quick drink then just laid on the ground in a puddle of my own dripping sweat while the dogs licked my face. live and learn.

We freeze our fish oil pills and take them before bed. No chance of getting fish burps that way.

It was Andrea's idea!

I just plan the workouts and run the miles - she comes up w/ all the other good ideas!

I like the frozen approach.
