Ran track and cross country for Utah State. Ran a 4:40 in the 1500. 17:55 in the 5000 m.

2002 Spanish Fork half  1:28

Short-Term Running Goals:

Run a couple of half and full marathons. Would love to run a 2:45 marathon.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Marathon olympic trials in the next 4 years

Did interval workout of 4x1000s with a 400 m jog in between each. Ran the first 3 at 6:45 pace. The last one was at 6:30 pace. did .25 cool down and .5 warm up.

Did a tempo run of 4 miles. My splits were 7:27, 7:01, 7:16 and 7:09. (avg pace 7:14) Of course there were plenty of hills but I felt really good.

Did not have time to do a long run today. Hubby had to be at his gun safety class at 7. I failed to get up and will not have time to get it in today so I plan on doing it Monday. I did however do 3 miles at moderate tempo pace on the mill. Splits were 7:30, 7:10 and 6:45. Felt pretty good. Did .5 warm up and cool down.
